Work in progress

So I decided to document my latest painting, it's really cool to look back and see how it developed. This is the direction I'm taking for my next solo show.... I will be using poetry, mythology and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood as inspiration for this body of work.

Tim Burton Exhibition comes to ACMI!

This is very exciting! Straight from New York, the Tim Burton Retrospective comes to Melbourne. This show is not to be missed.

"over 700 works, including paintings, drawings, puppets, costumes, storyboards and film. Discover the elements of gothic fantasy, dark humour and motifs that characterise Burton's work as director, concept artist, illustrator and photographer."

Rose Street Art Market

This February you will find myself and Beth at the Rose Street Artist's Market selling our arty things. Saturday Feb 13th, 20th and the 27th. We will be selling some handmade badges, photography, art prints and original paintings and drawings.

For those who have never been to visit this fantastic place, Rose St Artist's Market (a former junkyard!) is in the middle of Fitzroy, you have to check it out. For directions, info and photos, please visit the website here. It's a great market, full of unique work from a range of artists and designers. "The Market has gained the reputation of being one of Melbourne's hidden treasures, wowing people with the high quality of work on offer".
