This Saturday Rose Street Art Market

It's going to be a sunny 33 degrees on Saturday, if your not busy, a stroll around the market and a cup of coffee is a great way to spend the afternoon...

The Market...

Well Saturday's market went well... even though it rained we had quite a few visitors. Thanks to all who came down to say hello!

Here are some of Beth's goodies

 

Creepy Mannequin from a neighbouring stall was giving me funny looks all day....

This was our faveorite visitor of the day... and by far the cutest.

By lunchtime we were soaked and our stall had shrunk to half the size to try and hide everything from the rain under our umbrella (Thanks Mark!)

Looking forward to this week, I will have some new art prints for sale and some of the images have not been exhibited before. Let's hope the weather man keeps his promise and it's a sunny 31 degrees!

Rose Street Art Market

This February you will find myself and Beth at the Rose Street Artist's Market selling our arty things. Saturday Feb 13th, 20th and the 27th. We will be selling some handmade badges, photography, art prints and original paintings and drawings.

For those who have never been to visit this fantastic place, Rose St Artist's Market (a former junkyard!) is in the middle of Fitzroy, you have to check it out. For directions, info and photos, please visit the website here. It's a great market, full of unique work from a range of artists and designers. "The Market has gained the reputation of being one of Melbourne's hidden treasures, wowing people with the high quality of work on offer".

So I bought a Holga on ebay... it FINALLY arrived the other day, I shot a roll of film as soon as I laid my hands on it.

A brilliant lifestyle photographer specialising in portraits, weddings, events and commercial photography (Other skills include colour correction, image enhancement, retouching, album design and other design services).... this is only the beginning for this talented lady. Scrolling through her blog and website pages, you will quickly see she is a very creative visual and photographic artist.
